    Worst Comics of 2013:

    GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 0.1

By Brian Bendis, Steve McNiven and Marvel Comics

This will definitely make the list this year. This is the most flat, formulaic, weak and uncreative thing of Brian Bendis' that I've ever read (I haven't read everything). For a few years I enjoyed his work immensely, but of late have grown tired and bored by his work

I've got a review of Joe Casey's awfully wonderfully titled SEX #1, "The Season of Hard".
Plus take a look at this panel...

That's Megatron without his hat. Weird.

    To My 13 Loyal Readers,

New reviews are now up http://www.renderwrx.net/apps/blog/

What is wrong with the new Thor comic? How is Jason Aaron still employed as a writer? I can't figure it out. But I did read a couple awesome comics, The End Times of Bram and Ben anyone?

Private Eye #1 was awesome and with a minimum price of 50 cents, its well worth a buy.

Another good week of outstanding comics. TIME WARP #1, THE LEGEND OF LUTHOR STRODE #4 and others were great to read. Check out my reviews of them and more here http://www.renderwrx.net/apps/blog/

I can't believe I read another Jason Aaron comic and his Thanos Rising #1. Miss Fury #1 was almost as equally bewildering in it's awfulness. But there were some gems, take a look at this snippet and guess where it's from.

Threshold #4 had to be one of the worst comics ever published in the history of comics. It was completely impenetrable coming in as a new reader.

Is it just me or are DC and Marvel really insistent on pumping out a lot of garbage? Is it their fault or are creators finally getting wise and taking their talents to other companies realizing that the corporate bigwigs don't give a shit about anyone?

    Super Sunday Reviews, all new!

I liked Mark Millar's comics once upon a time...but Jupiter's Legacy #1 is treading used ground and is a boring read at that.

    More after the jump.

So The Movement by Gail Simone and Freddie Williams II is DC doing social relevance... ugh. So sad. Its amusing to see people so out of touch try so hard to be hip. Oh well. Super Sunday Reviews for Cinco De Mayo are here http://www.renderwrx.net/apps/blog/

No DC or Marvel books got read this week, so all the reviews are on somewhat out of the ordinary titles.

If you're not reading Private Eye by BK Vaughn and Marcos Martin, you're a cheapskate, because the comic is pay what you want. Me being the thrifty sort paid 55 cents for the latest issue. It's a hell of a deal for a quality book.

What do Hitler, Henry Rollins and Jesus have in common? They're all part of this week's Super Sunday Reviews.
