What's with people listing Casey in here for Wildcats? That's Wildstorm/DC.

Did i say that? I said maybe people see him as Marvel writer. I know Fatale has many fans in these forums. Of course there are different opinions on favs that work at the moment for Image. People can rate others highly for all they want, doesnt devalue his works at all to me. Its about taste, what people read.
Im not used to him writing a series realesed by Image and i thought maybe several others here thought that.
Pull List:
The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk
No, but the way you worded your statement made it come out like that.
How can people not see it as an Image original? It's being published by Image, it have the Image logo, Brubaker was part of Imagecon. What more proof does someone need?
And so what if people are not used to it? It's still being published by Image and nothing can change that. So what you're saying is ridiculous, of course he's an Image writer.

Well, reason I asked in the first place is because Marvel and DC has lost alot of the appeal to me. Yes, there is a handful I like and thats about all my son knows. For me though I find that the stuff coming out under the Image brand much more appealing. I know alot of guys at Image has and very possibly could again work for one of the "Big 2", if that writer does I might try to get onboard with it. I mean Im constantly searching ebay for old McFarlane work. If I find writers I enjoy as much as McFarlane then it opens up another can of worms for me.
Also Im sure Dark Horse, IDW and other idependents have just as good books. For the time being Im enjoying what Ive found(with help from everyone here) coming from Image to be where my money is headed.
My top 5, in no particular order...
-Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead)
-John Layman (Chew)
-Ed Brubaker (Fatale)
-David Hine (Bulletproof Coffin, Storm Dogs)
-Brian K Vaughn (Saga)
Really enjoying Whispers by Joshua Luna, but I haven't read any Luna Brother's stuff, so left off of the list (for now...).
Avengers Arena is one of the best books in the shops right now, it's seriously amazing.
Show Teddy some love!
"I want Apex to feast on Reptil like a pregnant khaleesi." - Sanji
Top five, you say? In that case: Brian K. Vaughn, John Layman, Brian K. Vaughn, Tim Seeley, and Brian K. Vaughn.
Current favorites:
DC: Smallville, Supergirl, Detective Comics
Marvel: Ultimate X-Men, Scarlet Spider, X-Factor, Thor
Other: Saga, Angel & Faith, Buffy
You are taking this too literally, too seriously and something i didnt intent to sound like. I meant maybe they thought his best works was in Marvel. Not that Fatale isnt Image.
For example i voted for Joe Casey, Brian K Vaughn despite what i have read of theirs was by DC/Vertigo/Wildstorm.
Pull List:
The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk
My top five Image writers right now:
1. Brian K Vaughn (Saga)
2. David Hine (Darkness & Storm Dogs)
3. Landry Q. Walker (Danger Club)
4. Ed Brubaker (Fatale)
5. Tim Seeley (Revival)
Because i answered that remark to the poster before me who was surprised no one had voted in Brubaker before him.
It was a wild guess silly answer you made a big thing out of nothing. Cant i make a silly remark that doesnt have be totally serious and debate who works for which company now.....
Enough off topic and ruining the thread for others fans on my part now.

Ed Brubaker for me, but Vaughn and Hickman are not far behind (even though I do not like their particular books, there's no denying they are firing on most if not all cylinders.)
Wake me up when it's over...
