I'd say Scott can be grant some TP resistances. Scott was told to sit down by Xavier and complied showing no Tp resistance there. But that was before he he embraced the 'darkness' and as willingly to zorch the planet. I mean, wasn't Scott was able to push Xavier out of his mind and attack him? Fact he was even able to attack the guy whilst already being controlled in his mind has to be some kind of TP resistance feat.

I read it more like Cyclops having finally embraced the Dark power gained all the abilities it entails.

I'd like to point out it was strongly implied that Cassandra was ripped to the tits on Kick when taking on Charles and Jean. She's seen injecting herself with something, which in context of Morrison's run can only be Kick, when she captured Scott and Logan in E For Extinction. It's very possible she never faced Charles and Jean without the power amping that Kick gave her. She doesnt show that level of power when facing Sublime Beast and Jean in Here Comes Tomorrow, even when fighting for her life. I believe he feats should take that into account.

She was never on Kick. She was injecting nano-sentinel parasites into her bloodstream. She had always planned on letting herself get captured so she could switch bodies with Charles, and so she set a trap in her body for Charles. Jean even made the comment after she realized that her body and rest of the X-men were all infected with the nano-sentinels, that "she had planned all of this" from the beginning, and that she "sees through space and time".

And the reason she didn't "Seem" as strong as she was when she first attacked the X-men was because she had been trapped in Stuff, with her mind devolved to the state of a pocket calculator, being slowly reprogrammed. The comic gave no explicit explanation as to exactly what happened in between the time she was first trapped to after she was fully reprogrammed to Xavier's philosophy and became the headmistress, but obviously she was not at her max power levels after being released from Stuff.
