    Default A+X Discussion thread

    Well, it seems no-one on the avengers thread is too fussed, I wonder whether you X fans are!
    I'm quite new to comics, the comics in my signatures will be my first ever ones. I wanted a X title but recently my dads losing interest in his kids (Moi!) and moneys getting tight. I've limited myself to some titles and they are in siggy.
    I was gonna get;
    All new - Double ships far too much but when it stops I may join. Easily the best X title for me out there and Bendis is on it.
    Uncanny x-force = May try it.

    I'm getting A+X because I dont know much about the mutant side of marvel, I've watched X-men, first class and origins (I've got X-men 2 and x-men 3 on my ipod to watch, most likely tonight!)

    So, whose excited for this?

    The Avengers are assholes. The X-Men being lumped into pointless team-ups is not cool.

    I liked Dan Slott's story. It was funny and entertaining.
    Second story had good moments, but the big mistake on loeb's part was to make this story obviously a part of some bigger epic, rather than self-contained story.

    Overall it's much better than avx.
    Beast+wolverine story would be the ultimate a+x

    It'd also be a real chore to read, so it would fit with the theme of the first issue!

    I think any other book is a better introduction to mutants than A+X. Even New Mutants.

    I'm not sure it's reached any sort of appreciating status

    Well I just love this idea.

    It wasn't bad, but let us be honest: it's pretty much filler series.

    I think it was supposed to be funny, light-hearted etc.
