That is an oddly adorable baby.
Pretty cool cover, not one of the best but awesome nonetheless. I often find that the ones I don't like all that much look much better once they have the title on them and all the other stuff that goes on a cover. I think Chiang really puts a lot of thought into how final cover will look rather than just drawing a pretty picture and letting someone else worry about the placement of the title and the writing/artist credits.

They could, yes. But Zeus had blazing eyes and Diana had them as well when she went into God-mode, so if they have done something, the eyes are probably not it. Originally Posted by KingofMadCows

But I doubt that Diana had those eyes when she was a baby, otherwise the whole clay story wouldn't have worked.

although her shorts do seem to reflect the red color-- there is the darker lowlight and then the reflection of red, while her boots are just red, with no highlight or lowlight.....hmmmmmm Originally Posted by brettc1
