Foiled again! I just read Superman #18 and came to see if you had read it yet. Last time with Batman it was a book a little earlier than the point you started from and this time I'm a few issues ahead. Oh well, it's something to look forward to at least.

I just read this for the first time today, and while agree that the time travel aspect didn't make a lick of sense I thought it was a fun adventure none the less, mostly because I really enjoyed Bryne's art here a whole lot more than I usually do for some reason.
That gleaming city was a cool concept though, one that I really wish had been better utilized as it was a great piece of science fiction.

I'd probably give it a B-, it had it's whopping flaws but I liked the art, the pacing was just right for a Saturday Morning action romp of a story and the concept of the city was fun to think about even if it wasn't fully utilized.
