Being underage, my comic-reading-treats aren't the good stuff, yesterday I got;
Some oreo cadburys chocolate, some milky stars in those share-bags, 2 wagon wheels, and 4 go ahead apple/raisin bar, oh yeah.
;P Bad-ass.

Tonight for me it's Hellblazer: Original Sins and a can of Fosters![]()
Avengers Arena is one of the best books in the shops right now, it's seriously amazing.

Been reading Green Lantern books this weekend. Now Absolute Sinestro Corps War with Grimbergen Double 6.5%. Delicious stuff! The 6-pack set me back € 5.34, about $ 7.00

I like how you matched your beer with your comic.
Tonight, I will be drinking Deschutes Black Butte Porter while reading Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes. I just recently discovered the awesomeness of the legion. :) Also, gonna fool around with my Macross Frontier VF-171 afterwards. Complete geek night.

Stout is my favorite style. Here's a quick list of my favorites:
Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
Founders Breakfast Stout
Left Hand Milk Stout (Nitro)
Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout
Sam Adams Cream Stout (this beer is severely underrated)
Some must-try beers I've had recently:
Samuel Smith Yorkshire Stingo
Ommegang Three Philosophers
Weihenstephaner Vitus
Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin
Sam Adams Wee Heavy
Founders Old Curmudgeon Ale
The Jockamo IPA is great. I recommend their Abbey Ale if you haven't had it.
Brother Thelonius is overrated. There are better Belgian style beers out there (like Abita's Abbey Ale), or you could just get a true Belgian and be done with it.
I like beer, but can't pair it with reading. I have a low tolerance and short attention span, the combination means I can't read anything if even mildly foggy.
I've got a six-pack of Full Sail's latest entry in its "LTD" limited edition series. This one, recipe #6, is a really dark lager. It's as dark as a stout in color, but much lighter in body.
And I'm currently reading a year-old issue of Alter Ego.

That's a nice list. We seem to have similar preferences in beer. Thanks for the opinions. Recommendations are always appreciated.
I'll keep an eye out for the Hitachino Nest Esspresso Stout and the Abita Abbey Ale.
I just saw some Founders Old Curmudgeon last weekend, but they wanted around $2.75 per bottle, so I picked up some less expensive Founders Porter instead.
As for comics: I'm currently enjoying Samurai Executioner, Volume 4: Portrait of Death. By Kazuo Koike & Goseki Kojima. If you like old samurai movies, I recommend this series.

Thanks again Belgium for a delicious beer. The world wouldn't be the same. This Leffe Tripel 8.5% is really REALLY nice... with a hint of coriander and orange peel. They were discounted in the supermarket, so $7.00 for 6 bottles.
