Not really. With the rumor of Iron Man (SPIOILER POSSIBLE) using 40 Iron Man suits in a fight, they're running out of things to expand the Iron Man franchise with. Rescue seems like a natural progression.

Fair amount of villains that can be explored; Ghost and Living Laser are different from the trend of men in armored suits. Madame Masque, Temguin, Zeke Stane too. I don't agree that putting another member of the supporting cast in an armor is a "natural progression". Will we need to put Happy in an armor to progress in a potential Iron Man 4?

Happy will probably die in the third movie. Besides, Iron Man is using up his tricks.

Armor Wars, Demon in the Bottle....the last time i checked this has still yet to be done.

i wish they would stop killing off the villains. i wouldn't mind if Rouke was back.

This third movie is Exterminus and Armor Wars. Demon in the Bottle was "kinda" done in Iron Man 2, and the current director has no intention of doing that story.

And Rourke? Rourke hates Marvel Studios now, so he won't come back.

Nice. I'd also like to see Ms. / Captain Marvel at some point, as she's one of my daughter's favorites. But Wasp is cool too.
