    I only ask that issue numbers have some form of simple logic to aid in my cataloguing. Otherwise, I don't care what's on a cover.
    I've never bought a book because it had a big #1 or #x00 on it.
    I've never not bought a book because the issue number seemed unwieldy.
    I've never bought a book because it had some wicked cool artwork on the cover.
    I've never not bought a book because the cover artwork sucked.

    I've never really understood what was so wrong about buying a book without a cover at all.
