Excellent. Will pick this book back up.
I want to be excited about this - but Giffen is drawing like Kirby now. I just don't like it.
I don't think the art is the problem most people had with his title...
I let this title go a half dozen issues into the reboot. Have always second guessed my decision. I'll definitely check this book out again now.
Finally. We knew this was happening, but nice to get a date on it.

Levitz has said that Giffen contributes hugely to the story whenever they work together. No doubt he won't just be drawing.
I honestly can't remember the last time Giffen has 'just' drawn anything.

Oh. I'm definitely interested in this book now!
"The Valeyard is an amalgamation of the darker side of the Doctor’s nature. Somewhere between his 12th and final incarnation."
Okay. Let's look at the cover...
Heavy sigh.
Why oh why does Keith Giffen draw Phantom Girl looking like a Russian Olympian athlete on steroids? Her thighs are wider than her head. Also, she and Invisible Kid have facial expressions that look to all the world like they are straining to pass a stool.
I am sorry. I know Levitz's LSH plots will improve dramatically with Giffen's input. But that art is just downright ugly. I can't say enough bad things about it.
If only they'd put Steve Lightle on the artwork and let Giffen just write with Levitz. But nooooo, Giffen has to draw it.
Oh well. Thankfully, this book can continue to remain off my pull list. Dammit.
Well this will certainly be an improvement.
Giffen will finally bring the creativity and excitement this title needs, I will be happier if they kicked Levitz from the title altogether but this is acceptable at least.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
Well this blows for me. Now in addition to the writing I don't like the book has art I don't like.
At least Francis Portela could get me through Levitz boring story.
I was hoping for Giffen to be a co-writer, and I don't get the solicits saying that this is the FIRST TIME they're facing the Fatal Five, but I'm looking forward to it. :)
PG's seems to have a mild case of man-shoulders, I'll give you that--however, I doubt anyone will look all that pretty in the face when they're running away from a massive stone hand coming at them with explosions happening just under their feet.![]()
