no offense but... those covers look REALLY bad :(
Yeah I think the 52-cover thing is a deal breaker for me.
Horrible covers no matter the flag, but changing just that detail for 52 different covers is a bit much. Some variant covers are nice, but a variant of a horrible cover which keeps the same horrible composition and just changes the flag is definitely not worth it.
All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others.

I like the idea of it, but it does look a little off. What I think is doing it is the flag--the lack of shadow and natural folding makes it stick out like a sore thumb.
Wow. That's incredibly underwhelming.

I'm pretty sure the right hand part is just photoshopped from the initial cover we were shown months ago.
That's a pretty glaring photoshop job there. I don't think this one works as well as DC anticipated. Sure they can clean it up for release but it's not just the flag itself. Why bother cramming in the extra characters in the background like that? If they wanted everyone they should have approached the idea differently.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
I wonder if all the "variants" will be included in the collected editions? FULL SIZE.
Anyway, I'm still curious and trying to stay positive about this book. I like a team with a healthy mix of BIG stars and C-Listers in it.
Peace
REALLY not getting the hate, the characters all look fine, finch draws armor and clothing fantasticly... catwoman's kinda skinny, but finch has done FAR worse.... far better too.
but still its.... just not bad :/
