Default How Should I Introduce Spider-Man?

Well, I am going to pick up writing my completely original book, but I hope to expand it out to MARVEL to try to get it published as an extended part of my new universe (hope to grow it to a MNU (or a MARVEL Novel Universe)). The next book I want to introduce is a solo book on Spider-Man, picking up directly after the events of my COMPLETELY ORIGINAL creation. Due to it being a completely original creation, I was NOT able to make references to previously established characters in the timeline. Thus, I will give you an idea of my universe.

No references to Captain America: Simple, he was never really introduced to the American people. He operated as a special forces division, the early days of SHIELD, and helped fight HYDRA. He was frozen in ice and never heard from again. Presumed dead.

No references to the X-Men: Simple, the X-Men were hidden away by the CIA after the CIA discovered mutants existance. The United States has nothing more than conspiracy theories on superpowered people. After the events of my book, people will start asking questions, thus forcing mutants to come out in the second book.

SHIELD: SHIELD was a private government agency that really just supervised espionage. When Fury told the president that with this growing threat meant harm to his life, and the president didn't listen, spoilers:
the villain tries to claim the president's life
end of spoilers and the president increases SHIELD's provisionary status to start monitoring superhuman population.

This is where my book leaves off: spoilers:
The villain puts bombs all underneath New York and is prepared to blow them unless the president is murdered by the end of the night. However, under the Republican ticket, they must nominate him or he will drop a nuke on New York City as a whole. Due to being unable to track the villain down, the president seriously considers taking his life. So, the president's service tells the villain that they refuse to kill the president. To show them that he is not joking, the villain starts blowing up Manhattan. Gang war erupts with the police, the Russian Mafia and the villain's mob all going head to head. Knightstar, Detective Carter and the leader of the Russian Mob find the villain. The villain ends up dead and they are able to disable the bomb dispite Falken (another superhero) being murdered. Now, Knightstar leads the way for a new generation of superhumans.
    end of spoilers

So, who should be Spider-Man? Miles Morales? Peter Parker? Miguel O'Hara?
How old should he be? Knightstar is thirteen at the time. Falken was fourteen.
And what should he be like in this new world?

I don't really see why this has to involve Marvel characters. Instead of SHIELD, you can make up your own government agency.

And then you can self-publish, since you're only using new characters.

If it's a hit, Marvel would be interested in potential crossovers.

I'm sorry. I really think that if I use MARVEL characters, I would have a wealth of characters under my belt. And the purpose of this book was to really prove that I COULD write a book featuring MARVEL characters. I understand where you're coming from, but I want to use characters I truly have and use that wealth of material.

You definitely would have to go through Marvel to publish your book if you use Marvel characters and not your own because no other publishing company will be able to do it without being sued by Marvel.

In my opinion if the story is good enough to publish, but Marvel happens rejects it you won't be able to even try to publish it elsewhere.

In my opinion using Marvel characters will limit your options to publish the book. You should make your characters unique.

I know this. This was a book I was going to write while I was writing this one so when I publish Knightstar, I can coincide with my publishing with MARVEL. If they don't want to, I won't use MARVEL characters. Simple.
