"Great last word" Bit of an understatement, there.
Consequences was the real end to Uncanny rather than what the title suggested. And a bloody good ending.
Consequences was also the last word on AVX. AVX started as a simple possession but ended as a political problem. Nobody could envision that just restarting the mutant gene again meant that mutants couldn't hide outside the law anymore. Cyke just slaps Caps face with how difficult a job it is to do that.
When you look at the effect of AVX on Captain America, you can see that an injustice existed that Steve Rogers had to address. Like the elephant in the room about super heroes and the law in Civil War, the elephant in the room is now mutants and the law.
The Avengers and the X-Men had a war in House of M. The next war was AVX, and instead of Mutopia, Utopia was the fighting point. Wanda made her heaven and Scott made his heaven. Anytime Scott wants to criticize Wanda about what she did, he will have to remember what he did.

Visited NY and DC and saw Spider-Man Turn off the Dark.
Sad to see there's no space for Danger in Marvel Now...
