I'm really excited for this book, though I admit I'd rather have a different artist. If it were up to me, I'd go with an alternating team of Paul Pelletier and Andrea Divito.

At any rate, I'll have to see the costumes on-panel, so to speak, in order to judge them cosmetically. When I first saw Bucky's Captain America uniform, I thought it sucked, but when I actually saw it on-page in the story, it really grew on me. So I'm hoping the same applies here.

I underestimated Bachalo. Personally, I'd rather prefer it to be called Dark X-Men, 'cause UXM vol. 3 seems to be too soon, but all in all I am happy. Cultist X-men? hell yeah!

It's disgusting. I hate how Cyclops, a white straight male, is at the forefront of the X-Men, who are supposed to represent the underrepresented. What a sham. Hell, Professor X is more diverse than Cyclops. They're shoving this whole "POOOOR OPPRESSED MUTANTS!!!" down our throats, but it's hard to relate when Cyclops is a WASP.

Oh, but he has a conclusive force beam. Yes, that really reflects diversity in the X-Men.
