Its fine that they want a female book, but does it have to be called the Defenders?
The Defenders totally work as a concept, its just that marvel refuses to use the actual team.
I hope it does well, for those people who really want a female book, but I won't be picking it up.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! Anything Defenders I will surely be getting! I love Misty Knight but now, I have to decide three between Uncanny Xforce, Avengers, Indestructible Hulk, Young Avengers and Morbius. Damn this won't be easy!

I really enjoyed Fearless a lot. I'm excited that they let this book go ahead and spin out of it like the ending implied. I just really want to know who else is going to be in it. (Not that it matters, I'm sold regardless.)

I'll give it a shot, if only to support the idea of an all-female Marvel team, but I'm not a huge fan of any of these characters except for Dani Moonstar.
and I don't really understand the logic behind Marvel thinking an all-female book with THIS line-up will sell better than Marjorie Liu's Lady Liberators pitch with Black Widow, Elektra, Mystique, and X-23 lol.dazzler_emma frost_wiccan_cyclops_angela
