Not on Naruto's watch, they aren't. He solemnly vowed none of his buddies would kick the bucket in this war. And you bet your ass he's going to deliver on that promise.........Believe it.

Woah, this final battle is already pretty hectic.... I have a feeling its going to get even more confusing a little later on. Unless it decides to just focus on one battle at a time.

Also I have a feeling Gai might be toast after this fight, I don't mean dead, I mean something like Lee where his body is useless because he opens all Eight Gates and kicks major ass along side Naruto and Bee. I'm pretty excited to see how this goes down.

Gai is a serious power house. No doubt about that. I have a feeling whenever he releases the Eight Gate he could hold his own against Madara. But then again Madara can curb-stomp everybody that's currently alive. Its time to Edo-Tensei the First Hokage.

Unless the plan is to get Madara to monologue dramatically for several minutes about how awesome it is, that wouldn't work.

The First Hokage was able to fight...against a Madara without the Rinnegan, without the Wood Release and probably unable to spam his Chakra-costly techs.
Current Madara should stomp him pretty easily.

To be fair, in the real world, that's sorta how that would actually be...a horrible mess of wood dragons, demon foxes, and giant octopus/cow things...My God! This is awesome!
