While on an escape route through the labs in Mojoverse, a splinter team of X-Men stumbled across Mojo's genetic experiments. There, they a found a little boy that bore striking resemblances to Dazzler's recently deceased lover, Longshot. Overwhelmed with the emotions of losing her lover, as well as a miscarriage on this mission, Dazzler decided to bring the boy back to Earth with her to raise as her own. Despite most of the school's disapproval of the child's presence there, given that he was a creation of Mojo's and could very well be dangerous, Alison kept the boy, calling him Gavin.

During Gavin's teens, Dazzler regained popularity as a musician by branching out into the indie scene and soon moved to London. This resulted in him developing a passion for music itself and in no time, he had started releasing albums of his own. That came to a halt when his mutant powers were awakened, causing him to channel his own energy out as bioelectricity everytime he even so much as touched a microphone. Returned to Xavier's school, principal Ororo personally started training Gavin in harnessing his powers. During his time there, he also started going through extensive physical training but denied an X-Uniform once it was all done. His real love was not in being in an adventurer, but in being a musician.

With the president's assassination at the hands of a mutant, aggression between humans and mutants saw a rise once more. A siege from a newly upgraded Bastion on the institution saw the X-Men's numbers depleting. Gavin was asked to help out one more time by his mother and he declined once more. That was the last time he got a chance to speak to her. Losing Dazzler snapped Gavin back to the reality of the situation and he realised he could be selfish no more. He joined the X-Men in their last stand against the machine and was a crucial part in it's defeat.

The political scenario between humans and mutants has calmed down once again, but there is still a need for the X-Men. Gavin is serving as one of their ranks now, still pursuing a career in music, living in a cottage near the Xavier's Institute with his boyfriend Daniel Moonstar.

Love it love everything about it. That X is a design detail to die for.

#48 - Stepford Cuckoos
Real Name: Esme Cuckoo
Codename: The Pawn
Affiliation: Hellfire Club
Background: In a divergent timeline, Emma Frost runs away from home at the age of 16 as she does in the 616 universe, however in this reality Emma becomes pregnant. When the doctors inform her that she is pregnant with not one but five children, the distraught teenager's psychic powers overwhelm her and commit a telepathic abortion. However, the quintuplets own latent psychic abilities kicked in just in time to save one of the fetuses. Eventually Emma gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that she name Esme who she promptly put up for adoption, but unfortunately her daughter spent her childhood as an orphan in the Massachusett's Stepford Orphanageinstead of with the loving family that Emma had hoped for.

Esme grew up a lonely child within the orphanage, teased by the other children who'd constantly chant "cuckoo" at the little girl who carried on conversations with the voices she heard in her head. When she turned fifteen her mutation came into full effect, allowing her to project the astral forms of her four other sisters and wield dangerous psychic powers. Seeking to gain revenge on the orphans who bullied her, the "Stepford Cuckoos" emitted a mental wave that left everyone with a 100 yard radius, comatose. Esme spent the next few years drifting from place to place using her psychic abilities to maintain a plush lifestyle.

After pulling off a particularly thrilling heist while on the Upper East Side, the White Queen of the Hellfire Club sensed an immense psychic presence and sought it out, finding that this emerging telepath was in fact her daughter. Although bitter after years of abandonment, Esme and the Cuckoos decided to use their birth mother's status to join the upper ranks of society. After becoming loyal members of the Hellfire Club, Esme and her sisters begin to go by the codename 'The Pawn' instead of the Stepford Cuckoos. As 'The Pawn' Esme and her sisters disguise themselves as the Hellfire Club's talent as a means to gain intel from their customers (but rest assured, it's illusions doing all the work).

That is an amazing, well thought out story. I can't wait to see the completed drawing. Esme is looking good so far.

Nova Havok



In this universe's annihilation wave, richard rider was critically wounded and barely escaped the annihilation wave despite absorbing all the nova force. on the brink of death, he sought out the nearest sentient beings nearby. fortunately for the universe, this sector is the among the hunting grounds of that miserable band of pirates, the starjammers!

led by havok, the starjammers tried to save nova, but his wounds proved too fatal. dying, he gave the nova powers to the intergalactic pirates and once more revived, the nova corps!

with his mutant power and now magnified by the nova force, havok is now among the universe's most powerful beings.

buoyed by constant success in bringing peace to nearly every corner of the universe, havok now starts to believe he has stepped outside his brother's shadow as a leader and has now fancied of bringing earth into the intergalactic community. with the nova corps beside him, he returned to earth to establish the first Earthican empire. He established his foothold in Africa and united all the African countries into the United African Commonwealth.

Believing his cause to be just, Cyclops brought his mutant faction and joined Havok. Soon, the EU and the South Asian countries joined and created the first Earth Union while the rest of the world resisted.


i wanted to cross havok's uniform and nova and came up with this. looks meh, but ive never been really good with design. lol.

Fantastic facial details pryde, love the classical cheek-against-shoulder pose.

Photoshop is pretty hard, but it gets a lot easier with practice. I'm just lazy and too easily frustrated.

Is there anyone willing to color it? I have the inks scanned in already.
