Powell's "The Goon" Movie Kickstarter Races to Completion

With the Kickstarter to fund a story reel for Eric Powell's "The Goon" film directed by David Fincher and animated by Blur Studio nearing the end of its backing period, Powell tells fans what they can do for a final push.

I think the level of talent involved is great but the fact that it's a "story reel", which is basically just a really long pitch-video so they can sell it to studios, and being able to see the aforementioned story reel is a bit impossible unless you live in the area. Or you pony up 10 grand for a personal viewing. I think if I put money down on a kickstarter, it would be for a movie I wanna, like, see on DVD/Blu or even online.

Yeah. I greatly enjoy The Goon comics, but getting this on DVD or Blu Ray would have been the only thing that would have gotten me to donate to this Kickstarter. I wish them well, though.
