Puerto Rico joining the union doesn't sound like a bad idea. Let also the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Northern Marianas and American Samoa join the Union.

PR's the only one on this list with more than 200,000 people. Guam and USVI make it over 100,000.

I have always had a soft spot for admitting Israel and the PA as states (insure freedom of movement and have them haggle the border issues in court).
