Dat nu human-luking GL had betta b Asian not Asian American....der r already 2 many Americans as it is.

If it is another American, it had betta b d Native American(& not sum mixed cop-out @dat).

Otherwise d ring choices is questionable, 1st it only picks white people(3 of dem) den only Americans(yes, including d nu Arab GL).

And ALL of dem r men?

Is it so impossible 2 believe dat der r non-Americans with dedicated force ofwill within dem?

Look forward to seeing this and of course for Giffen to work his magic on reinventing characters. Kind of curious on the alien GL on how he remains being a Lantern without the Oans calling his Power Ring away. But, anyway, hopefully Threshold does a lot of universe building since outside Earth is a bit lacking. Wouldn't mind seeing Vril Dox, Adam Strange and others get cameos and mentions in various issues. Plus, lets say the various alien space empires and how they function a bit in the nu52. Would like to see the Reach as continued villains and Lady Styx has gotten a makeover so maybe she will be a big bad for the team.

Though like Desaad, it gets a bit cumbersome on how many menaces the Guardians leave behind and end up signing a treaty. They did it in Vega, they did it with the Reach, they did it with Apokolips, they even ignored Manhunter space once upona time and now they have done it with Lady Styx. The amount of menaces the Oans just left around because it 'wasn't worth mutually assured destruction' is surprising. But I have to admit that its a tough dynamic to do with the Green Lanterns around... its difficult to have big menaces without giving some valid reason on why the Corps haven't crushed them.

And also curious to see Giffen's Larfleeze. I quite like the character since he's perhaps the most unique out of the Lantern Corps created by Geoff Johns. He's like a superpowered Gollum Anyway, bring on Threshold!

I could be off here, but I don't think Giffen had anything to do with creating Rocket Racoon. Mantlo wrote the mini with Mignola on art. Though I think he showed up in Mantlo's Hulk run before that. Was Giffen involved with that appearance? Rocket afficianados, I need your help!
