Agreed all.~This arc just isn't working for me
~Come on Psylocke. Shadow King is who you decide to have a moral dilemna over? Stupid
~This series has lost its magic for me. It was a good issue but I'm not feeling it. Daken doesn't jive with the earlier appearances. Every time he talks to Wolverine and whines the dialogue falls flat. The Nightcrawler Fatality was cool but the art has really made all of the action scenes underwhelming. If Daken does end up dying that would be somewhat of a letdown since he was just brought back from dying
~Having Deadpool as the voice of the reason is a particularly ridiculous turn. It's also a crime to waste so much panel space (not to mention Noto art) on Daken, AOA Blob, and the entirely disposable Omega Clan when Mystique's involved.
~This book is so much better without fantomex and the cheesy drama he drags with him.
Thought so too - but the gruesome and loathsome attack tactic was a plus for its novelty. AoA Kurt is totally despicable now.though did make me wonder how much space is inside Blob that there was room to 'port into him like that.
I am more curious how acceptable/believable his claim of returning from Hell, SOMEhow and apparently AFTER his death in the finale of his dead series.do u really think remender will kill daken off like that, it seems a little to predictable??? im just a daken fan holding onto hope that he dosnt die.
It was unclear why they were not part of the torture/attack scenarios of this chapter.Sabretooth, Skinless Man, Omegas Red and White, and Mystique weren't in this one.
This Ascension angle is starting to confuse me. How would that work? What would that mean again? Its irrelevant. Weapon X was trying to save his world too, he ascended in part because the Celestials gave him the ultimatum of ascending or they'd destroy the Earth. And Weapon Omega is still trying to save the world, he believes that by wiping out humanity and bringing back deceased Alphas, Earth will look good enough to escape Celestial Judgement.
