Probably Reed and Doom, because they are rather more alike than either would care to admit-they may be defined as 'hero' and 'villain' by the world at large but they're both egotists who are each determined to prove their intellectual superiority to the other.

Carol Danvers (aka Ms. Marvel, Binary, Warbird, and Captain Marvel) vs. Rogue. It's just so brutal. And it results in a couple of great physical as well as psychological confrontations... such as the issue where Rogue joins the X-Men when Carol is still living at Xavier's mansion, the issue where Rogue is imprisoned on Genosha and retreats into her mind only to have her Carol Danvers persona assert herself, the recent Ms. Marvel issue in which a second AU Carol Danvers appears and Rogue and Carol have to team up against her... A cool part about it is that Rogue has to fight this battle on two fronts, because for the longest time, there had been a Carol Danvers in the real world, and a 'personality echo' inside of Rogue's head.
Also, the three-way Spider-Man/Human Torch/Iceman rivalry that started back in the mid 60s, and found its expression in crossovers and guest appearances. It eventually led to Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, though the Torch had to be replaced by Firestar because of licensing issues.Sign O the TIMES, mess with your mind, hurry before it's 2 late
