Manga series fusion: Bleach, Soul Eater & Negima

You get the assignment to create a fused series out of the manga versions of Bleach, Soul Eater and Negima. For the most part you can do whatever you want with it but you have the follow these two rules.

- Elements from all three series has to be incoporated. It can be as little as a single character from one series as long as all three are represented somehow.
- At least one of the main characters from the three series (Ichigo, Maka, Soul or Negi) has to have main character status in the fused series. As long as this rule is followed you can make whoever you want to into a main character.

Besides that you're free to do whatever you like. Villains can be heroes and vice versa. Power levels are whatever you want them to be. It doesn't even have to be an action genre series. And so on.

Setting is in Shibusen, Ichigo is the new student at the Academy and has to become a fully licensed Death God. Maka takes him under her wing. The story is primarily from

Negi, an accomplished mage who has travelled to the land of the dead, is the new teacher and is searching through the afterlife for his dead father so he can kind find out the true circumstances surrounding his death. Shinigami-sama has said that if Negi helps him by being a teacher, he'll help him seek out the soul of his father.

Aizen is the Vice-Principal and is seeking to release the Kishin and fuse with it. He and Medusa have a torrid fuckbuddy thing going on much to the chagrin of Shunsui the Home Economics teacher.

The Kishin is hidden in the deepest vaults of Hueco Mundo, the land of the forgotten dead. This is the place where especially powerful souls are consigned to because they cause normal souls to break apart just by coming near them. Students and Shibusen, after hunting out 100 normal souls and one witch Soul - the Vaizards are witches in this - to make their weapons into Death Scythes, they are free to enter Hueco Mundo to keep the powerful and dangerous souls of wicked beings in check.

Here are some persons and their weapons:

- Ichigo. Weapon: Orihime (Sword/Shield)
- Maka. Weapon: Soul (Scythe)
- Konaka. Weapon: Setsuna Sakurazaki (Katana)
- Negi. Weapon: Asuna (Paper Fan Sword/Big Sword)
- Tatsuki. Weapon: Ku Fei (Tonfa)
- Black Star. Weapon: Kaede (Shape changing ninja weaponry, favours cloak though)
- Tsubaki. Weapon: Ishida (Bow and arrow but also has sword form)
- Death the Kid. Weapon(s): Jack Rakan and Yamamoto Genryusai (He wants them to be twin pistols but they change their weapon style to suit their mood)
- Stein. Weapon: Mayuri (Flock of flying poisoned scalpels)
- Shunsui. Weapon(s): Ukitake and Nanao (Katana and Wakizashi)
- Rukia. Weapon: Kotaro (Slightly bigger sword than Orihime)
- Chrona. Weapon: Tsukiyomi (Black Demon Blood)

The Espada, led by Evangeline make up the main villains at first, there is major civil war in Hueco Mundo that is forcing the Espada to try and conquer Shibusen in a bid to retain some territory. They are being forced out by Cosmo Entelechiblablah, led by Fate. All of them see the Kishin as the key to winning the war though they do not realise how dangerous it is and what madness will do to the afterlife.

And I like it. It's a nice mix of the three worlds with fun adaptations of similar concepts within said worlds. I could totally see this being a fun and awesome shounen action series. For some reason I really like the idea of Maka being Ichigo's sempai and since vizards are witches here I'm imagining Medusa with a snake-themed vizard mask and that it is awesome.

And I really like the weapons/meister teams. Exceptional ones are:

- Death the Kid. Weapon(s): Jack Rakan and Yamamoto Genryusai (He wants them to be twin pistols but they change their weapon style to suit their mood)

...brilliant.
And not just for the initial hilarity of Kid's weapons being even less symetric than before. I can totally see these three guys hanging out in stupid, silly and hilarious fashions.

- Stein. Weapon: Mayuri (Flock of flying poisoned scalpels)

Oh, how much fun these two would be together.

- Rukia. Weapon: Kotaro (Slightly bigger sword than Orihime)

These two would have such a cute big sis/little brother style relationship.

- Chrona. Weapon: Tsukiyomi (Black Demon Blood)

This is sick and nasty and cruel and I love it.
