Idie would definitely embrace the broodling because she is "just as much of a monster as the brood inside her is." Then she'd bitch out Kitty for not making the same decision.
Goddamn, those panels remind me how much I loved Paul Smith's X-Men. To me that was the pinnacle, not Claremont/Byrne. I'd buy a pin-up book featuring nothing but superhero abortions if he drew it.

Hear me X-men! No longer am I the woman you once knew! I am fire and life incarnate! Now and forever...
I AM PHOENIX!
To the back-issue bins I go.

It's okay that you don't have the entire board memorized, ZNOP.
Hmm
I guess I was once pregnant with this rather nasty sinus infection.
Fortunately, I was able to abort the pregnancy with a couple doses of tetracycline.

I find the above scan to be quite disturbing.
Do Catholics truly believe that an unchristened child goes to hell?
Children who have not reached an age of understanding are in no danger of going to hell.
Jesus himself said in Mark 10:13, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
It says nothing about being baptised, christened, or anything of the sort for a child to enter the kingdom of God.
Before a child has a sense of what's right and wrong I believe they are pre-saved.
Once one acquires a sense of right and wrong then they must make the choice to accept or reject Jesus in order to be saved.
