In its absence, I'll join the Classics cognoscenti in sending the sincerest birthday wishes Idaho-ward.I tend to split superhero comics fans into "People who like Krypto" and "People who don't like Krypto."
Basically, if you miss the wonder of a dog flying around in a little Superman cape, you're in the wrong hobby.

Thanks everyone. Much appreciated.
Due to a quirk in Idaho law, the District Courts are not allowed to conduct business on the day of a general election. Since 99.5% of my work is in District Court I had a free day. I was in the office, but not very productive.
I think I'll probably have two or three Manhattan's tonight, eat some lasagna and see what John Stewart and Stephen Colbert have to say about the election.

There's an election? Since I neither vote nor have TV (nor even, as of the last month or so, a functioning car radio), I'm blissfully ignorant of the Choose-the-Lesser-of-Two-Vile-Evils beauty contest this time around. (Though, yeah, the incumbent is by far the lesser evil in this case ...)
