Writer Orci Confirms Universal's "Locke & Key" Film Trilogy

Screenwriter Roberto Orci, who will write with Alex Kurtzman, has confirmed that Universal plans to adapt Joe Hill's hit IDW horror series "Locke & Key" as a trilogy of films. CBR has details.

Awesome news! It such a cool concept and lends itself well to a trilogy. This is one of those stories that people talk about when they bemoan the state of network television and that at one point in time FOX had this as a potential series but didn't move forward. Seriously, is it any wonder crap like The Mob Doctor doesn't do well while edgier fare like The Walking Dead and even Revolution are doing well. You blew it FOX.

I wouldn't worry about it. The writers have often said they don't know what Michael Bay shot, but it wasn't their scripts (for 1 & 2), which is why they didn't return for film 3.

I'm so excited for this! It's about time this series got some love from the mainstream. Everyone I've shown this comic to is can't put it down. They badger me to get the next issue or volume for them.
