Off the top of my head I can remember times he did it in both the Secret Invasion and Annihilation Wave events.

I'm pretty sure that he never did it during the Annihilation war. When he used his forcefields they were fairly large pretty much all the time.

I just checked and you're right. He did some other fun stuff with his powers there, but he didn't brain pop. That was in Nova #16, Secret Invasion
