Nope. Rather that some people simply know more than others. It's not like archery would be that well-known nowadays if it wasn't for media throwing stuff like Lord of the Rings, Robin Hood and so on into our faces.

They're thanagarians. They're running around with axes and swords. I sincerely doubt that archery is a skill lost to the mists of time.

And they actually were little sticks, not full sized arrows.

They still have arrowheads and flights. It's a somewhat simple and recognisable design.

Ok, man. I don't really care about the current book enough to argue further with its fans. I'm just in wait mode for Lemire now after Nocenti's terrible run. I just hope we get Daredevil and Kid Eternity's Nocenti on Katana and not this one.

This is what gets me. Nocenti's scripting was exactly this terrible on Daredevil and nobody seems to remember or re-read those issues.

And yeah, I do get that the Warhawk was talking about the tiny needles. That was the least awful line in the preview.

Haven't read it all. I liked what I did and I find it strange that it has the same level. Daredevil is praised while I think was the first time I heard anyone say anything good about her run here.
