Can't wait to try out Lemire's Green Arrow. It should be pretty fun hopefully (can't get any worse).

Also, the article mentions that Katanna series is really a mini-series instead. So it's not an ongoing? If that's the case, then what is the real new series?

Never been a fan of Green Arrow, but the creative team makes it hard not to take a peek, and see how it is, glad to hear Lemire is staying on JLD and Animal Man.

Suprised that Sorrentino was took off I Vampire, his art style was perfect for that book.

Many on CBR forums have speculated on which writers DC would nurture and push to the forefront of their line as superstars now that Grant Morrison is stepping away from the bulk of his DC work (aside from next year's Wonder Woman: Earth One with Yanick Paquette).

Scott Snyder is one of those writers--and it should be obvious now to anyone that Jeff Lemire is next on the list.

This could be worth checking out...maybe my 1st pull of Green Arrow since 2010.

I think that's kind of been a given since Animal Man. Hopefully Fialkov and Kindt get similar pushes. At the same time though I hope I Vampire gets a quality artist to replace Sorrentino. They need to make sure the dark line doesn't just become a proving ground for their mainstream titles.

Yeah that'a a pretty meh way to fill Morrison's void. Meanwhile, Morrison's creative disciples are all at Marvel.

Default excellent - I'm on board

    Oh, thank goodness!

Guess the success of Arrow finally knocked some sense into DC about the direction of the Nu52 Ollie.

I'm very glad to give these gentlemen a shot. I've been waiting a long damn time for someone to follow Grell & Diggle...

Does happy dance in work computer chair.

I wouldn't hold my breath on Fialkov since he's started working on some books for Marvel.

Kindt could be like Jason Aaron for DC in terms of how DC helps establish him the way Marvel has built up Aaron's rep.

    RE: Lemire on Animal Man
That was a gamble on DC's part which fortunately paid off. If Animal Man hadn't sold as well as it did (along with winning rave reviews), I don't think Lemire would be nearly as hot as he is now. FYI--I'm a huge Lemire fan and I am not maligning him or Animal Man as I love his writing, especially on Animal Man and Justice League Dark, too.

My point is, if Animal Man had bombed, Lemire's rep on DC books would've taken a hit (like it did on Superboy which is a book I loved, but clearly most fans didn't care for).

I may be in the minority who actually liked GA thus far, but I am so freakin' excited for this news. Lemire has been hitting the bulls-eye (pun intended) with Animal Man and Justice League Dark. so let's all hope this translates.

On the one side I was really enjoying Nocenti's GA run, but then this is Lemire taking over so it's not exactly a bad trade. I'd just like to see a decent length and consistent run on the book hopefully Lemire can provide that.
