Some needed their powers to survive -- think Chamber, though he did come through OK. Others were using their powers in a way that didn't let them survive when they lost their powers (i.e. flying, or IIRC we saw some never-before-seen fire-resistant mutant skiing in a volcano just as his powers disappeared, resulting in a heated moment).

I've seen some anti-Wanda folks say that she's also responsible for the busload of X-school kids who were murdered by Purifiers, which is blatantly ludicrous IMO. The Purifiers are responsible for killing those kids, not Wanda.

She wiped out a lot of the mutants, but she didn't kill them, they're clearly alive!

So why does she get a lot of hate from posters here, or are they just speaking on behalf of the mutant community?

But mostly she was just used as a plot device in a bad story, without any regard to her actual powers or character.

To Go Further into this Story linkspirit97, You have to Read the Mini-Series: Young Avengers: The Children's Crusade. Their it explains more about what really Happended to Wanda during that Horrible time. I do not want to give away the story at all before you read it, but if you want to know the basic story behind the Crusade go to this like (WARNING: Major Spoiler Alert, do not read if you intend on Reading Children's Crusade)

As for the people say Wanda did terrible things, they have the right to their opinion, everyone does. But they take it Way to over the Top and are asking for Wanda to Jump threw their own Righteous Rings of Redemption before she is a hero again. Very few heroes, if any in the past have been ask to do before they can come back or at least ones as detail after the Crusade Recon. In the end the hate is the same as I see it with any other subject on the Internet; Hate for the Sake of Hating something, that is mainly it, it's a Hobby.

Also, Read this article to understand the None Canon History that was changed to Make M-Day Happen to Wanda, also may have spoilers, but not as many:

You do not. Though it perfectly rounds out the story of EB, and are core issues for the event; less so for those interested in Loki.

It's a fairly traditional crossover, with part one in Thor, part two in JiM, part three in Thor, etc. The JiM issues do a fair job of recapping what you need to know from the Thor issues, but it does read better as a whole.

You absolutely have to buy Mighty Thor to understand JiM.

    Laughable to say otherwise, frankly.

Hello there! I was wondering if someone could help me out with a question: Prior to 'Avengers disassembled' Iron Man and Thor had something of a falling-out - what was it about?

Yeah, some important bits for Loki (especially the ending) that if you don't pick up Thor you might be lost in the story. My recommendation is wait for the trade it will be much more economic since you will need all to get the full and complete tale.

    Default This sounds dumb but....

I'm online, doing my comic list as usual when i come across Avengers assemble annual with Vision.

Now, I've never read ANYTHING with the Vision in it. Should I give this a try?

Why do you make a thread for every decision you make concerning comics? I don't know you. You don't know us. Why are you trusting the opinion of perfect strangers who are clueless about your taste or situation? Plus, in every Marvel forum, there IS a thread for people to ask questions or a recommendation thread. Why not use those threads?
