But...'Krypton' has been found before, on several occasions - there was even a Krypton-like find a couple of months ago.
We've also seen the Fortress on Earth.
Is this 'official' because DC has decided it to be so (for now)?
*shrug*
This sounds fun. I'd prefer they did kind of wacky, creative, outside of the box stuff like this in the backups instead of just highlighting peripheral stuff from the feature story.
Oh, and before I forget (again), it was already 'found' in Superman III as well as Returns![]()
...And does Mr. Goddanm Batman says so much as ''Thanks''? OF COURSE not. That'd hardly be GRIM AND GRITTY, would it?
The jerk...
-DKU's Jim Gordon.
This was pretty cool of Tyson to do. I also really like him playing up being a citizen of Metropolis and helping Superman, like in Action #14. Well played sir, well played.
My point is that similar planets have been found before, and often jokingly referred to as 'Krypton' (you can find threads about them on this board (here, for example: http://forums.comicbookresources.com...-Krypton-found! )). This is 'official' because DC has decided it ought to be, that's the only difference.

And, like I said, the 'Fortress' has been found, too:

That it is official, and involves the pop scientist de jour, is what makes it cool. I get that you like to use these threads as a jumping off point to demonstrate your Superman knowledge, but just enjoy it.
That said, I don't really like nailing a specific place down for Krypton, especially one so close. It's in a different sector, albeit the neighboring one.

That wasn't my intent, and I apologise if it came across that way. I was just amused that, after the 'finding' we had barely 2 months ago we now have an 'official' one.
I'm not too keen on that, either, but there have been a number of stories over the years which have had Krypton 'close by' (relatively speaking). Sometimes it seems as if the DCU is 'smaller' than ours...That said, I don't really like nailing a specific place down for Krypton, especially one so close. (I guess it also doesn't help that I have no idea who this guy is (rarely watch television) but would have been okay with it being Brian Cox (sorry))
There needs to be a scene where Superman tries to say something scientifically impressive, and this is Tyson's reaction:
If not, MISSED OPPORTUNITY.
This is the big thing they were hyping out last week? Pointless.
Action Comics, Batman, Justice League, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Night Wing, The Flash, Batman And Robin, Teen Titans, Batman Inc. , Earth 2, Avengers Vs Xmen
This is really cool. I love this kind of stuff.
What I don't like is that this "version" of Krypton is located too damn close. Oh well, not a bad thing though.
... The Master Of Puppets has spoken.
Goodbye León (november 16th, 1993 - june 12th, 2009). You were, are and always will be the best friend I ever had. I will always love you and never forget you. And please, please forgive me.
Thank you for teaching me about love, patience and caring. Rest in Peace, my friend. I hope that wherever it is you are now, you can run and play as much as you want.
Cool beans.
