I have never been much of GL fan, mostly cause not into Hal Jordan, but damn those Guardians are making me reconsider.

Third Army storyline isn't doing much for me, but I am liking Baz and really enjoying his introduction so far. I think he is a good modern update of the Hal Jordan character (guy who makes really bad decisions but ultimately wants to do the right thing).

Hopefully, there'll be more 'endings' than ME3... and our favorite heroes survive... or maybe not.

Seems to me that the Guardians were somehow infected with Krona's madness and that once this is over, they're going to be replaced by their brethren trapped in the Chamber of Shadows. Also, I have a feeling the First Lantern will die (killed by the White Lantern? Who knows) and that its death will somehow lead to the deactivation of the 3rd army (hopefully restoring the assimilated to their original forms).

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised to see the First Lantern survive and serve as a villain in the post Third Army period. Geoff Johns has already said that there is another arc being developed from this one so it wouldn't surprise me. I do like perhaps a way of eliminating the Guardians and keeping them by having the current Oans defeated and replaced by the Hidden Ones from the Chamber of Shadows. Its a nice way of rebooting the Guardians without eliminating them entirely since they are quite attached to the Lantern mythos. Plus, I can't see the Green Lanterns forgiving the Oans for what they are doing right now so the Hidden Ones seem as a nice alternative.

Anyway, interesting to see one of the reasons why the First Lantern was imprisoned. The guys insane....

Wow, are those Doug Mahnke's pencils?!? They REALLY look rushed this issue.

Still excited for the story and can't wait to read it, though!
