Who wants a ULTIMATE VIETNAM Mini Series

Now that I think about it Jason Aaron needs to come back to the the Ultimate Universe and write Ultimate Cap. Aaron and Millar were the only ones that actually made Cap a whole character that you want to read about that was neither totally good but neither totally bad either. An extremes of both at the same time is all I can describe Cap. Loeb wrote a decent Cap but there was nothing special about him in Ultimatum, Ultimates 3, or New Ultimates. However Loeb actually did made me like the character in Ultimate Captain America Annual so I give him credit for that.

To be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of Aaron's take on Cap. He focused almost entirely on the soldier-focused jerk Cap, never really doing anything with Steve Rogers. I wouldn't mind seeing Aaron take another crack at it, because I think he could do it, but that was really lacking in his miniseries.

I think Millar and Ellis, and to a lesser extent Bendis, have been the only ones to really hit on both sides of Cap. And really, Millar is the only one who has done it for a significant amount of page space. I think Hickman would have been able to do it also, but he didn't get to write Cap much, unfortunately. The scenes he wrote in Fallout and Ultimates 5-6 were perfect, though. Instead, we get Humphries's President Cap, who is kind of watered down, to be honest; maybe he'll do a better job writing Steve Rogers, because this is a huge opportunity to get inside the man under the mask.

Actually I forgot to mentioned I did like Humphries characterization when Steve is talking to Nick Fury. But when he puts on the mask Humphries makes him go full-retard.

Do you think they'll do a Wolverine mini when his movie comes out? Maybe a back and forth type thing with him and Jimmy?

Though you may not like it, we might get an Ultimate Comics: Iron Patriot four issue mini series next year. It's a pretty likely possibility, I think.

God I really hope not. I love Ultimate Tony Stark as much as the next person, but I'm ready for someone else to shine.
