    Default Taskmaster

As far as villain power sets go, his is pretty bad ass...but I can't think of one comic he regularly appears in. Is there a reason for this? Can someone point me in the direction of some good taskmaster storylines? I have no idea who he regularly fights, all I can find is he trains other villains. I mean that's great and all but having a steady job isn't very villainous.

You've pretty much nailed why he's not anyone's regular antagonist. He's too pragmatic, and he usually plays a behind-the-scenes role.

As far as good storylines, he was great in Deadpool and Agent X by Simone and Udon Studios as well as the related Udon Taskmaster series. His recent mini-series by Van Lente and Palo was a lot of fun, but it made some controversial changes to his status quo. He was one of the leads of Avengers: The Initiative during the Dark Reign storyline.

Yeah, lately he's not necessarily a villain. He's just a mercenary, occasionaly working on the side of the angels.

The most recently I think I've seen him about was hunting Marcus in Battle Scars and then in Secret Avengers.

Over the years he's fought...pretty much everyone, I think. He just kind of pops up. He's just kind of that guy you throw at the hero when they need a win. His ability to master your skills in sight is supposed to imply he's a tough take down...but his track record says otherwise.
Freedom is the ability to live without fear of persecution. Nothing more, and certainly nothing less.
