she change the name and she work in the umbrella corporation
If I'd inserted a character heavily based on a loved one (as Nurse Annie was based on Austen's wife) into an X-Book, the low survival rate of non-powered female love interests in comics would ensure that I'd be writing her out of the book the moment my run was up. Still crap foresight on the writer's part and pretty creepy to start, but at least I can understand why he'd want to get her out of the line of fire.
I liked the idea of a woman who falls in love with comatose Havok and then gets over him after he starts talking. I also like the idea of Havok pilfering the mansion's help.
It does leave an important question unanswered. Who was banging Marylin?
VIVA KUSASAN!!! Morrison On Magneto: I made him into a stupid old drug-addicted idiot. CC had done a lot of good work over the years to redeem the character. And I went in and sh*t on all of it.
