Recommend me

Ive only really read batman so i cant really say what my taste are but im not really into fantasy stuff. I might try buying a couple of the new 52 Hard covers to give me a taste.

So out of the new 52 what hardcovers would people recommend.

I'd suggest trying Animal Man and Swamp Thing together, they tie in well and have been excellent titles. I, Vampire is fantastic and continues the dark theme with something a little bit different from everything else in the DCU. Snyder's Batman is excellent as is Morrison's soon-to-end run on Action Comics. Aquaman is great fun, don't expect the same depth that you'd get with other titles I've mentioned but it's an enjoyable ride so far. Demon Knights has been one of my favourite titles up until recently so I'd definitely suggest trying that out. I've only read the Green Lantern trade which was fun, but from what I've heard of recent issues it's got very, very good again.

I've heard excellent things about Dial H and Earth 2 but am yet to try them.

Hi everyone,

If any of you are looking for an indie comic to get stuck in to, I can highly recommend 7String by Nich Angell. It's a sci-fi fantasy comic all about musical weaponry, and it's really awesome. I recently read volume 1 (around 100 pages in full colour) and loved it, and he's recently launched a Kickstarter to help fund the making of volume 2. DC-wise I've got to recommend Batman and I, Vampire. The only DC things I enjoy, and two of my favourite comics I buy.

Obviously though, there is some really amazing stuff over at Marvel and especially Image such as Daredevil, Amazing Spider-Man (which is ending), Hawkeye, Chew, The Walking Dead, Saga and Fatale.

So got couple of trades for xmas i now have Animal Man,Swamp Thing, Action, Detective and the flash. Ive also got a new Walking Dead comics to catch up on should keep me busy for awhile.

If you're not reading Invincible, you need to be. Image Comics. Best superhero comic book in the universe. It says so on the cover, and its not a lie. If half of what DC put out each month was as good as this title, they would control the entire market.
