Sorry this has been bothering me like crazy. But in a recent ultimate comics spider man Miles is Wearing a Wesley Crushers t-shirt. Im just curious as to why ?

Issue 15 a couple pages in. The shirt just says Wesley Crushers and he was a character on Star Trek TNG so not necessarily a BBT reference.Last edited by RadioActiveLunch; 11-04-2012 at 11:22 AM.

But they had that same shirt in a episode of the BBT. It was Sheldon trying to say they were going to crush Wesley, but it sounded like they were honoring him instead. Hilarity ensued.

yeah wesley crushers is the name of that bowling team sheldon put together. Just thought it was funny.

Yeah its no big deal just found it strange to notice. Wil Wheaton is hilarious in the guild and Big Bang just found it funny.

I loved that. Immediately recognized the shirt.
It's a great reference to the show.
Though I must confess I don't quite get what the problem here is.
Are you wondering why he had it on? The artist probably is a fan of the show and wanted to express that through the comic.

well i checked imdb and the character's name is Wesley Crusher.. with no S.. so it's not just a t-shirt with the character's name on it.. it's a big bang theory reference
