End of series Yusuke takes on Saiyajin-arc Yamcha... arguably the last time he fought without being a disappointment.
How does he do?
If Yamcha is too easy, how about Krillen or Tien? (Obviously the Saiyajin are too strong)

DBZ's upper level characters blow away entire planets casually. Vegeta did it without effort BEFORE his first visit to Earth, for no particular reason with no particular effort. Of course Yamcha looks like a chump next to the competition.
Yusuke is pretty near the top of the power scale for YYH characters. They don't blow up planets. Mountains sure, but not planets.
Both Yusuke and Yamcha have an energy blast power for range, Yusuke's seems to be faster and more powerful. As fighters Yusuke's primarily a brawler, he's been trained but at heart he's a street fighter. Yamcha is much more of a martial artist. I think they'd be pretty equal.
Let's see now.
The last proper indication of Yamcha's power was that he was on par with Radditz via fighting evenly with a Saibaman. Radditz was killed by an attack that punched a hole through a mountain. Yusuke can blow up mountains, or was that just limited to his powered up form, so I'm thinking that Yusuke shouldn't have too many problems with Yamcha in the fire power department.
Speedwise I'm not sure.
Was the Radditz=Saibaman official or something DBA made up?
How much more powerful did Yamcha actually get? I remember him training all the way up through the Cell Saga, but his only real "feat" by that point was not instantly dying when a Cell Jr. kicked him a bunch. But then again, the Cell Jr. might have just screwing around.
It's a lie! My pants were off the entire time!
Hold it there. Special Beam cannon specifically focuses all of Piccolo's power into a drill type beam. This is an older, stronger version of a guy that wrecked the entire surface of an island and, on the same day he fought Raditz, blew up the moon.
It's way stronger than anything Yusuke can dish out.
The Cell Jr. was definitely screwing around. The only ones that could put up a fight were Trunk, Vegeta, and Piccolo and they were so far ahead of everyone else by then it's not even funny (okay, maybe a little funny).

True, Piccolo while a bit winded (which wasn't much) afterward blew up the moon, he wasn't even beginning his training (though mostly in the manga as we see, he tends to check on Gohan before deciding he's ready for proper training but of course, he had to be given his sudden rise in power by the time the Saiyans came by).
Heck, Roshi using a full powered Kamehameha blew up the moon and that took a lot of out of him...When he would eventually admit Goku and gang surpassed him in late DB.
