How does he do against the fighters of the SFverse in one on one combat?

I think he'll find himself outclassed in general in the comics, but he'd do fine vs the anime cast up until he fought Juri. Then she'd kick him in half.

Oh, and he rips his way through the cartoon versions and game versions, for the most part, unless there are some mad in-game feats I don't know about.

I think if we exclude their ability to use chi, he might do a pretty good job. He'll probably beat people like Zangief, Deejay, Fei-long and Cammy though. (Low on the SF totem pole)

Since when was Cammy low on the totem pole? She was Bison's top assassin and she beat the hell out of Vega, Bison's number 3/4 who made Honda look like a joke. O_o

1. He can manage to fight briefly against some of the Udon comic ones, but pretty much loses to all of them in a straight-up battle. Maybe with gear and suprise he can take some of them.

2. Game-Ryu beats the snot out of him. I don't know about the others - they're somewhat lacking in feats up to SF 3, where I stopped playing.

4. Anime characters...there are bucketloads of Anime versions who kick Bruce around like he owes them money. He can take some of the ones shown in the SF II Movie anime, though, despite their ridiculous muscles.

I doubt Bruce can beat anyone from Udon comics in a striaght up fight. There's too many cartoon version that vary widly in power to comment. Game version most lack feats. All in all, bruce basically losses to anyone of note with feats in most versions bar the absolute worst (like the live action move):D

well Balrog did kill a elephant with one punch, and Cody can punch through a 50cm thick concrete wall. bursting through the concrete walls of his cell is how Cody usually breaks out. by the way Capcom Japan goes by seishi which means authentic history when refer to Street Fighter Canon this includes the games , the source books and the SF4 Prologue stories that Capcom Japan had up on the SF4 website once. the source books contain stuff that's not mention in the games. as for the Prolouge stories , the shadaloo ones feature a character name Smart Raven who was off by Bison.

one thing that is mention in the source books is that Birdie fought the Dolls once and using the half-buried train chassis to slow
them down as he made his escape. the dolls were sent to terminate him after he discovered Shadaloo's dirty secrets. Birdie is on Tier 5 because of this

Birdie:Powerful enough to temporarily stop the VSS' assaults on him,
using whole train parts, yet still gets owned by Chun-Li and spills the
whereabouts of Shadaloo's psycho drive base. He didn't impress Vega for
nothing.

Edit: Also Zangief, Birdie, Hugo and T.hawk might be characters who are strong but slow. and yes the Game SF characters are somewhat lacking in feats.

as the Anime ones Batman gets beating by SF Zero anime Ken, SF Zero anime Ryu, SF Zero anime SNH Ryu, SF4 anime Ryu, SF4 anime SNH Ryu SF4 anime Seth, SSF4 anime Juri. SF2 anime Bison , SF2 anime Ryu and SF2 anime Ken. he also gets beat by SF Zero Manga Bison, SF Zero manga Evil Ryu. SF3 Ryu Final manga Ryu, SF3 Ryu Final manga Hugo. just about every verison of Gouki ( Akuma) beats Batman.
