I really don't want to see a "Dick dies and is resurrected" story, though. I like my comics to be based in reality as much as possible...

Unfortunately, Dick dying and being resurrected wouldn't be any less believable than Bruce pulling himself out of a airliner turbine mid-flight in the final issue of Court of Owls.

I suppose you're right. Unfortunately, I am one of those who thinks that the supernatural elements in comics is a reflection of poor writing skills and laziness. In other words, I am frequently disappointed by comics...

I'm sorry but that doesn't make any sense. Supernatural elements may not be to your taste, but they aren't signs of laziness or bad writing. They can be used correctly or incorrectly, just like any other element of a story.

On the other hand, it'd be kind of lazy to write a Dr. Strange comic without supernatural elements!
