But again, as someone earlier pointed out, the chances of anyone other than Morrison being allowed to kill off Damian are nil.

He's not going to kill one of the key characters in a story Morrison has been writing for years in his third major story as a Batman writer. And why would DC do that anyway? Who's going to be Robin, lol Tim? A Robin is another financial outlet and another creative outlet. It's not going to happen, I wish people would give up on this.
Well yeah, I dont expect them to kill Damian, but wishfull thinking. Damnian is a pretty terrible character though, doesnt do much of anything besides do extremely annoying things Batman doesnt like. And occasionally be funny. Between them all Tim would make a good sacrifice, not much lost there.

I extraordinarily doubt theyll kill Alfred. Thats like killing Lois Lane.

That doesn't sound too promising. What did Didio say?

Just throwing it out there, but is it possible DC are looking for an excuse to return to the pre-reboot DCU, and think by creating a HUGE backlash they'll have the excuse to do it?

Why would they turn back? Sales are too good to think of that.

He talks about the fan reaction many of DC's most unpopular decisions during his tenure, like the way Stephanie Brown was killed, as if the anger of the fans was a good thing. It seems that to him there is no such thing as bad publicity.

And no. DC is not looking to go back to the old universe. They've got a relatively large bump in sales that will probably stay for another couple of years, and for certain important people this has been the perfect chance to play fanboy.

I wonder how many times Scott Snyder is going to have to say he's not killing anyone off, for people to realize it.

Batman's crying because he's in such a horrible comic.

    ZING!

In reality, he's crying that Manbat still hasn't returned to THE FAMILY.

Bro. He has never said he's not killing anyone off.

He's said he's not killing and just maiming a guy countless times. I'm not going to look for the interviews, or through his twitter account, but I've read him say it a bunch of times....

Anyone else think its funny that Joker is criticizing Batman for having a family that makes him weak, yet he lets Harley tag along with him all the time?

Batman (supposedly) cares if something happens to his 'family.' Harley is a disposable tool to the Joker who he wouldn't miss.

As much as I'd like to see Tim Drake be killed, no one is going to die.

We end up realizing that Bruce's parent were never dead, but then the Joker kills them in front of Bruce effectively recreating the very moment that created Batman's creation.

Did Capullo actually confirm that it's Bruce in the image? Doesn't look like him to me; it could be anybody.
