herc is one of those that I "allow" to be equal via vs. relation as opposed to straight feats because he's consistently presented as being Thor's equal and has enough "range" feats to show that he has presentation of that level. Someone like Deathstroke is never presented to have Flash type speed, so it's a clearer case of B.S.

Maybe Thor is getting his speed from his hammer. What is his best speed feat while not holding the hammer?

Balder the Brave is supposed to be Asgard's fastest blade, and Thor was a near match for him )... it's the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

Thor once created a whirlwind by spinning his arm/cape, but I am really interested in how you came up with your theory on Mjolnir granting him speed (Aside from travel speed)

H2H only with everything else equalised? Toss a coin. Herc is supposedly more skilled at H2H, though Thor is more durable.

Again, it happened. Herc won. Really can't see Thor winning more than 3 or 4 out of 10 without his speed. And does Thor really have a durability edge against blunt trauma? Herc has done just as well, if not better, taking hits from Hulk and what have you.

I remember reading a comic where ares took over eric masterson thor and tried to kill hercules. This scene here was from it. If I remember correctly,Hercules shrugged it off and was able to handle Thor's lightning.

Sure it happened. Once. Every other time they have fought H2H it's been even.
