If I decided to name it "Ecvasometry", based off the Greek word of outcome, ekvasi, would it be appropriate to turn the "k" into a "c", or should I spell it "ekvasometry"?

Well, to use an example; Raziel from Legacy of Kain is an anomaly in his universe because he is, for the majority of the game, the only person with genuine free will. Everyone else is manipulated by the forces of destiny. If our precog guy were to be in LoK universe, he would be able to predict with 100% accuracy, the actions of literally everyone he would meet because their future is already pretty much decided.
That is, unless he met Raziel, because in his universe, Raziel is the only one who can outright change destiny. So, our precog would presumably see what Raziel was going to do according to the destiny of everything only to have Raziel do something different. That would be pretty jarring for him and freak him out I think.

Could I describe it as a form of viewing quantum superpositions and then choosing the desired eigenstate?

Yeah, I think this thread has pretty much run it's course by now.
Suffering is a fact of life. You survive if you find a reason to endure it.
