I think when they "officially" break that rule it will be something rather dramatic. Although it would be hilarious to just have Wolverine walk into a room and every stares at him. He doesn't say a word just goes straight to the kitchen and pops open a beer.

Why? It was already established that she could transfer her consciousness to another body in the past and she was killed off panel. Who knows what happened after she sent out the message asking for help.
