The X line is generally short on bruisers over all. Namor and Peter are the natural choices. Warpath and Frenzy are the others but they are boring D-listers. I'd like to see the return of Super Rogue personally but they already sided her with the boy-scouts.

Please keep Rogue as far away from this book as possible. Right now this is the one book I really want to get, but if you add Rogue to it would kill the book for me.

Thanos is a mutant though, and since Bendis is involved in GotG a crossover would make sense.



It was meant to morally ambigious but I still look at it as she saved 200 peoples lives all with families, children etc..

I think the team needs at least one big "defector" from the school to the join. I think it will probably happen.

Whether it's an O5 at the end of the first ANXM arc, a big X-Man, or a student...we'll see.

There should be one staff member who joins. Bendis said some of the teacher would question if this is what they should be doing and if it's how they should be doing it. So that sounds like some one is leaving. But I was thinking it would be ironic if Beast did all this and his younger self joined.

I was hoping the team would be called Mighty X-men. Uncanny makes it sound like they are on the same side as the Uncanny Avengers.

No it wasn't a bluff, he rigged the island with bombs and didn't realize the kids were still on the island.

It wasn't the only class he's been missing. It was mentioned in the series.

Why? You have a great writer one of marvels biggest guns. And you have bachalo very awesome art, just look at the preview.

Bendis is a great writer, but ever writer has their weaknesses. Bendis's has problems respecting established characterizations, writing team books, writing non-street level characters. Are you starting to see why people are concerned?

So, I think it's Magik on Bachalo's preview, and suspect that Emma might go to the school. She's broke and is genuinely one of the few X-Men who is a teacher. If she goes there, that would allow her to replace R'chel, she of the suspect loyalty, who can defect onto her family's side. Consequences hints at Emma leaving Scott during her conversation with Kitty, so it seems likely she might join Kitty at the school. R'chel leaving is more of a jump, but one I'd be profoundly in favour of.

After what happened between her and Scott and the fact that she can't teach anymore, she really doesn't have much interest to go be a revolutionary. But it's probably too much to hope for.

Bendis is a bit hit and miss for me and ok in small doses.

I think he would do fine on a solo title like Storm or Wolverine but giving him the keys to the whole mutant verse he will only damage the X brand
