I haven't seen the movie yet, so I'll keep my full judgment back until I do. But Pete on a skateboard? Seems so un-Parker like. I know it's a picky thing, but that alone really turns me off. Is that something from Ultimate Spider-Man?

Surely if the rights aren't owned by anyone else than the Marvel Studios one should just say "everything else"?
And the trailer is right, see the film only if you can without parting with money or even better, if you can get paid to watch it.

It's kind of funny how you and Wyokid are so similar yet you guys are always fighting. You think Amazing Spider-Man is good and hate the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. I agree, but there's not much competition there in my opinion. Other than the initial "Oh, shit!" feeling when the first Spider-Man movie came out, I didn't like any of the Raimi films all that much. Originally Posted by KurtW95
