    The art is pretty.

    I'm definitely getting this.

that art is awesome, but we'll see. This God Killer idea isn't really my thing, what ever happened to building a story? Right away Aaron is going for this giant threat. What happens after the first arc? How do you top a God Killer?

While I agree that the God Killer concept isn't the greatest, I'm more interested in the fact that this comic is focusing on Thor at three completely different stages in his life. This, and the fantastic art previewed here, are what interest me the most about this book. If there's anyone at Marvel NOW who knows how to do an epic character study, it's Jason Aaron.

I DO believe he said something about the god killer stuff spanning several arcs, and he wont shut up about wanting to do something with Mangog

That is some of the best artwork I think I've ever seen. When does Thor #1 come out?

One of my most anticipated titles from Marvel NOW. I've so missed Thor ever since I skipped it for most of Fraction's run.

Figured Ribic and White's art would rock...but enough with letting anything more slide through on pretty art. The story's going to have to produce a character with on-panel provable brain function, before I stop avoiding him in all current renderings.
    Mostly moved on to fanfiction.net...

He's talked about how the present-time Thor acts like a detective, which gives me great great hope that this will not be a solely a axe-wielding/brutish young man or an old one-armed axe-wielding/brutish old man. Thor with a brain and compassion isn't too much to ask for, right?

Beautiful art. Truly gorgeous. However, not sure if the story has in it to intrest me. I wonder how they are going to mantain this level of art quality with an ongoing title?

I've tried Thor several times over the years and never could stick with it. This new run has my interest. May have to check the first arc out.
