    Default Rucka's Punisher?

I'm a huge punisher fan, Frankenstein-castle included, have yet to pick up Ruckas punishers, out of fear of it being a disappointment. Is it any good?

It's good. I wouldn't say it's an all-time great run, but if you like the Punisher it's certainly well worth a read.

I think when the whole run is collected it will be up there with the likes of Aarons MAX run and the Old school Chuck Dixon stories but not quite as good as Ennis

But look out for Punisher Nightmares in January it looks awesome!!!!!

Read it. I've been following it since the beginning and no issue has been a disappointment. Chechetto's art was always top-notch and the fill-in artists were great as well. I imagine it will read even better in trades.

I agree and it's been down to Matt Hollingsworth colors that helped maintain the look of the book between the different artists

It's probably the best Punisher book out there since Punisher Max.

I wouldn't use Hollingsworth's muted colors as a selling point, but to each their own.

I do recommend the run in spite of them, though.

It's more that Hollingsworth colouring kept a sense of continuity when artists who where clearly different worked on the title (some times two artists in one issue)

He kept the same style through out the run and even helped bring some of the weaker artists work stand up aganist some of the best Art work marco checchetto has ever done

It's fantastic. It's as easy as that. It would no doubt have been much, much better without the links to the rest of the MU, but Rucka made the best out if it.

It was great in part because of its links to the MU. After War Zone ends I think I'm gonna be done with the character because it's basically Downgrade City from here.

i would use it as such, they are darkly beautful and fit this book PERFECTLY
i cant stand people who clamor for bright colors, it makes books Especialy dark serious books like punisher come off as silly
