Die cut covers on the second crossover this year? Not impressed.
As good as the first part was (in Batman) I really hope the storylines are kept in their own books and the crossover is just thematic across the books, because if this rubbish keeps happening I'll be down to 3 DC books by the end of the year.
It's rare to see a pair of creators do as many interviews as these two do. It's definitely contributing to the hype machine, and I think negatively. Not that every writer ever need be a recluse, but it is interesting to see how some of the newer age guys are going to have to tread carefully around the internet.

Why wouldn't the storylines be kept to their own books? I thought that was clearly the case. Batman takes on the Joker in the main Batman book, and so on for each character - you aren't going to have to buy every book, and you didn't when they did the NotO crossover a while back. It's just thematic. And you aren't being made to pay more for the die-cut covers, so what's the problem?
Well to each their own I guess - I personally like when Snyder and Capullo give interviews. I think it adds to the hype in a positive manner. I enjoy it when the creators show they are enthusiastic with what they're doing by agreeing to interviews to talk about it - and of course I like getting a little background info on the thought process. But like I said, to each their own.
Gotta keep my PMA (even on CBR)
I'm not even going to touch Snyder's "I could write the phone book..." comment. Whoever was interviewing them was so obviously worshiping them. I mean no one has said anything good about the GCPD scene. It would be interesting to see how they would react to a tough question. Oh... and Cap's art is fantastic.
There ain't no teens watching Teen Titans Go.
I think Greg Capullo is right about the scripts with 'camera direction', also you have to stay off the net most of the time because it's time consuming and you don't know why you are even on it most of the time.
I mean Greg Capullo basically makes this book, plain and simple.
I agree that the creators usually come off very well and all that--the problem with all the interviews is that after a while they're just regurgitating what they've said before. To be fair, I only skimmed this one, but what was really said here that hasn't been said in almost every other interview these two have done at this point?
Yeah. A major issue is that the interviewers are not showing any imagination or uniqueness in their questioning.
I personally love the interviews and the twitter details etc... because I live in an area of Australia that, while it isn't "the sticks", is regional - so I don't actually have any place I can go to buy comics or get any local coverage of pop culture stuff.. so I'm 100% reliant on the internet to order comics and keep up with news.
