    Default REVIEW: Prophet, #30

Brandon Graham, Giannis Milonogiannis and Simon Roy's winding, epic science fiction story continues in "Prophet" #30, with two fight scenes, a flashback to a lost love, a new ally and another diplomatic encounter gone awry.

If only readers were more open to different styles, awesome books like Prophet would the levels of exposure and success it deserves.

From the sales figures released, it looks like it has some consistency month in and month out. Just wait for it to gain momentum. Everyone just needs to spread the good word about it and I'm sure it will pick up.

Brandon recently said he's about half way through his story. As long as he can finish his story I'll be happy. Consistent sales should keep it running.

i lost the thread a bit on this issue. So in the last issue Prophet goes in search of his old team mates. Is this issue a flash back to what happened to the team before then or is this an entirely different story?

Saw this quite late :P from what I can tell parts of Issue #30 are set in the current timeline AFAICT, Old Man Prophet is traveling places to negotiate potential alliances against the Earth Empire and in this instance he encounters a surprise and has to retreat but manages to recruit an ally in the process; all the while he remembers his love affair with an alien from way back.
The fact that the new ally and his old lover are of the same race is already having an impact on him by the next issue.
